We are experts at foster care campaigns. It is why St. Louis County has put us behind the creative wheel more than once. In this campaign, we showed real stories of real foster parents in the region. It enabled people to see that fostering was challenging but rewarding. We created a mix of videos, booklets, and ads to push the message out to the public.
First, we tugged on heartstrings across billboards, online banners, and newspaper ads. Supportive homes were needed, for a day, a month, or forever.
To cement our message, we met with foster families in the region and captured their stories. This footage was turned into various videos. Each one took a different direction: the urgent need, parent’s experiences, the positive. The tone was uplifting and highlighted the joy these kids brought into the parents’ lives. St. Louis County was able to use these videos online and on TV.
