In this very special episode, the 8Bit Podcast discusses a topic that we actually despise…crowdsourcing. However, we change our tune a little bit in the fact we recently participated in a logo contest for Gander Outdoors.
Our feelings regarding crowdsourcing and our reasons for participating vary, but when Marcus Lemonis, now owner of Gander Outdoors, offered an actual amount of money that would be worthy of a rebrand like this, we had to take a shot. Along the way we realize that the social engagement of this was through the roof for this new chapter in the Gander lifecycle.
