Each year, Blacklist Brewing in Duluth, MN, crafts a special brew for 218 Hockey, blending unique beer styles with eye-catching can designs that celebrate both the brewery and the hockey team. Creative Arcade had the exciting opportunity to channel our creativity into naming and designing the latest brew, capturing the vibrant spirit of this collaboration.

Immersing ourselves in the world of hockey, we embarked on a spirited quest to find the perfect name. We decided on a winning name: “Bar Down Pale Ale,” a nod to the precision and thrill of scoring a goal that hits the top crossbar before crossing the goal line.

The journey continued with the design of the can itself. The result? A simple yet powerful design that seamlessly intertwined the distinct identities of 218 Hockey and Blacklist Brewing, capturing the essence of both in every detail.
